Scholars of knowledge creation (and of other knowledge processes) often say that knowledge creation is a social endeavour. In fact, it seems to be a bit different from social as it looks something like this:
You know, two champs chitchatting and then BOOM knowledge is created. But we don’t need to do much in order to falsify the claim put forth above. Or actually – revise our notion of what counts as social.
Thus, knowledge creation is a social endeavour, but we need to rethink the way we deal with the ‘social’. (guess my source of inspiration is rather obvious here 😉 )
